Course Open for Practice Friday 22nd June
The Sydney Disc Golf Club has organised the course to be open for practice this Friday 22nd June. Newington Armory will be closed to the general public but special access has been granted for disc golfers. To aid getting into the course, please assemble outside the main security gate at 10am. If you need access outside of this time please call Luke Williams on 0408 963 000 when you arrive at the course.

Our disc golf clinic “Come and try disc golf” will be on this Sunday 21st June.
A member of the Sydney Disc Golf Club team will be on hand to lend out discs, guide you with the rules of the game and provide some instruction on throwing techniques. For the more experienced player it’s a great time to meet up with a few golfers and play a friendly round.
There is no charge for the clinics.
There are two sessions:
10am - 11am.
11am - 12 noon for juniors (12-17 years)

We invite people of all ages, regardless of your skill level or experience to come along and try your luck at the Sydney Olympic Park Disc Golf Course. The 2009 Sydney Disc Golf Open is run by disc golfers, for disc golfers.
Event registration is now open. Please register early to help us with the planning and organisation of the event.
We will be updating the event website as the event draws closer with more information on the course preparations, event times and event sponsors.

Fee: $5 for the day and an optional $2 if you would like to enter the ace pool. Luke Williams nailed his first course ace a couple of weeks ago in a practice round so the current ace count for the course is 3.

The Sydney Disc Golf Club was formed on the 2nd June, 2006.
Sydney’s very first permanent disc golf course has been installed at the Newington Armory site of Sydney Olympic Park and is now available for play. The Sydney Disc Golf Club worked closely with the Sydney Olympic Park Authority to achieve this fantastic result, thus enabling local Sydney communities to access and benefit from the addition of this high quality sports facility.
